The JSchool does not officially observe any religious holidays. However, we accommodate students who do, and we ask that you do the same, whether that means extending a deadline or allowing a student to miss class and make up the work later. If you’re the one who needs to miss class because of a religious holiday, you can reschedule your session for another day or hold longer sessions for subsequent classes; we suggest you consult with students to see whether they have a preference, and to come up with a mutually acceptable time in the case of a make-up class. Please check to make sure a room is available if you need to reschedule or extend your class time.
