The Jschool for the most part follows the university calendar, but there occasionally are exceptions so always check our calendar, linked here and also at right.
- Opening Day (MS): Monday, Aug 15
- MS classes Start: Monday, Aug. 22
- MA students arrive: Thursday, Sept. 1
- MA classes begin: Tuesday, Sept. 6
- Start of Video Boot Camp: Friday, Sept. 23
- MS first-half classes end: Week Oct. 17
- Make-up for Monday classes missed due to Labor Day: Oct. 24
- Start of second-half MS Writing Modules & I&S: Wednesday, Oct. 26
- Preview of Spring Classes (aka the Dog & Pony Show): Tuesday, Nov. 8
- Thanksgiving: Nov. 24
- Last week of classes: Week of Dec. 12
- Last class: Dec. 17
